Order Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

KGI Order Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Effective Date: September 1, 2026
Applies to: Orders confirmed by KGI on or after September 1, 2026.

KGI orders are manufactured and scheduled based on customer requirements. Once materials, engineering resources and production capacity have been committed to an order, KGI may incur costs that cannot reasonably be recovered if the order is cancelled.

The following cancellation terms apply based on the status of the order at the time KGI receives the written cancellation request:

Before production is scheduled and materials are committed (generally more than 30 days before the confirmed shipment date shown on the KGI order confirmation)No cancellation charge, except for non-returnable special-order materials, completed engineering work, or other non-recoverable costs already incurred specifically for the order.
After materials have been committed or purchased, or production has been scheduled or startedCancellation charge equal to 50% of the selling price of the cancelled products, or KGI’s actual incurred and committed costs if greater. Incurred and committed costs may include engineering, purchased or non-returnable materials, manufacturing labour, outside processing and committed freight.
After the order has been completed or shippedThe order is non-cancellable. Any applicable KGI product warranty remains unaffected.

Rescheduling

Customers may reschedule a confirmed shipment date once, for up to 90 days from the original confirmed shipment date shown on the KGI order confirmation, at no charge, provided the request is submitted to KGI in writing.

The confirmed selling price will remain in effect through the approved rescheduled shipment date.

Completed orders held by KGI for more than 30 days beyond the confirmed or rescheduled shipment date may be subject to storage charges.

Any additional request to change the shipment date, or a request to move shipment beyond the permitted 90-day rescheduling period, will be treated as a cancellation and new order, will be subject to the cancellation terms above, and will be re-priced at the current selling price.

Additional Terms

Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted to KGI in writing.

KGI will determine the status of materials, engineering and production commitments as of the date the written request is received.

This policy applies to orders confirmed by KGI on or after the effective date stated above.
